The 27th annual Cranberry Portage Trout Challenge runs through this weekend on Big Athapap. The Committee’s Mike Wesner says it all kicks off tomorrow night at 7 o’clock when they have the boat parade and you have a chance to win your entry fee back by going to the boat parade and then they have a short rules meeting after and a penny parade with a ton of good prizes to win at that. He adds Saturday the fishing kicks off with a shot gun start at 8 in the morning and 8 in the morning on Sunday.
Wesner adds first prize is again 35 hundred dollars, second 25 hundred and third 2 thousand and those prizes are guaranteed with prizes right down to tenth place and a lot of other special prizes.
