Manitoba’s mobile breast screening clinic will be in Flin Flon August 8th to 19th at the Primary Health Care Center. Their Health Educator Brandy Pantel says this clinic is important to women. She says they know that for women 50 to 69 who are screened through Breast Check they can reduce the risk of women dying from breast cancer between 20 and 30 percent so that is the large advantage of screening.
The unit arrived in Snow Lake on Saturday and will be at their Health Center through tomorrow.
