A lot of work is taking place at the Flin Flon Station Museum this summer. The Committee’s Tom Heine says people will see a big change. He explains they are in the process of completely re-organizing the Musuem. They’ve got a staff there but had some challenges at the beginning of the season as they weren’t funded for a student worker but they’ve made some arrangements to get people there to man the Musuem. He says they’ve got a grand opening coming up and this will coincide with Flinty’s birthday on August 14th.
Heine adds the Museum is a work in progress and they’ll continue to work at it so people can enjoy exploring and learning more about the history of Flin Flon. The Museum is now open from 10 to 6 weekdays. For information you can call them at 204-687-2946.
