Groups and organizations in Saskatchewan are benefiting from approximately two million dollars in grants being provided by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority. Through these grants the Creighton Community Centre will receive 2538 dollars.
These quarterly grants are based on 25 percent of the net revenues raised through licensed charitable gaming activities such as bingos, raffles, break open tickets and other events. Groups that conduct licensed charitable gaming activities and events do not have to apply for the grants as the reports they submit on the events are used by the Authority to calculate the grants.
