Callinex Mines has signed a binding purchase agreement with Slam Exploration. They will acquire the Superjack and Nash Creek Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide projects located in the Bathurst Mining Camp of New Brunswick. They report these Projects host significant zinc rich resources that are near surface and within close proximity of operating processing facilities.
Callinex has also signed a binding purchase agreement to acquire the Point Leamington zinc, gold, silver copper VMS deposit located in north central Newfoundland from Newmarket Gold.
President Max Porterfield says they are pleased to acquire the advanced stage Point Leamington deposit which contains sizeable near surface zinc and gold rich mineral resources located within a leading Canadian mining jurisdiction. He says they believe this transaction will increase Callinex’s exposure to rising metal prices and compliments their exploration activities near Flin Flon.
