The new Manitoba Government presented its first throne speech Monday. Flin Flon MLA and NDP Labor Critic Tom Lindsey says the speech was scant on details leaving him with concerns. He says most things were left out of the Throne Speech adding he’s very concerned for what’s going to happen with labor going forward with the change to the certification process and things of that nature. He also says talking about the Trans Pacific trade partnership is he believes bad news for working people in the province of Manitoba and probably bad news for manufacturing as well.
Lindsey says the government didn’t really talk about anything for the north. He says there was some mention of tourism but there weren’t a lot of details on anything.
