They Have Been Singing for 20 Years.

The Flin Flon Community Choir will be celebrating their 20th anniversary later this month.  Director Crystal Kolt says the concert has three components. She says the first half of the show is going to feature songs from each of their musical theatre productions from the past 20 years and the second half is going to be a performance of Morten Lauridsen’s piece Lux Aeterna which is the same piece the choir is performing in Carnegie Hall in June.  Kolt adds the third thing is the Maestro Jonathan Griffith is coming to Flin Flon from New York to work with the choir and community members who are interested on the Saturday before the concert and he is conducting their concert in Flin Flon.

The 20th anniversary concert will be performed Sunday, May 29th at 1 in the RH Channing Auditorium.  Tickets are 25 dollars at Northern Rainbows End.
