Flin Flon Students Were Successful at a Heritage Fair.

Fourteen grade four to ten students from Flin Flon took part in the Red River Heritage Fair at the University of Winnipeg last week.  The Fair is held to encourage students to learn more about our nations past under the theme Canadian Heritage.  Teacher Michelle Reitlo reports Flin Flon students took five awards. She says Michael Ward received the World War Two Award, Sarah Factor and Brooklyn Morin received the Technology Award, Isabel Plamondon and Andy Richards received the Young Citizens Award so they will be having videos posted online for voting later on closer to summer and also Isabel Plamondon received a Award of Excellence for her project and was placed in the top three projects in the Fair so they were quite happy this year.

Reitlo adds there were 220 projects in total at this year’s fair.
