You Can Spend An Enjoyable Night at the Movies.

 

 

 

The Central Canada Film Group is starting their new season of films you should have seen Friday night with the film Goodbye Lenin one of the most watched films in Germany in 2004. The group’s Collin Davis says the film takes place in 1989 in which the mother has lost her husband and is completely devoted to the East German state but a heart attack leaves her in a coma and once she wakes up 8 months later the Berlin Wall has fallen and a whole new world has begun but to protect her from the shock her son Alex hatches a plan to keep her in the dark and all he has to do is bring East Germany back.

             

Goodbye Lenin will be shown Friday night at 7:30 in the Hapnot Collegiate Theatre. Admission is a silver collection and snacks will be sold.
