Over 80 people have contributed art work to the Norva Centers Square Foot fund raiser.  A variety of people paid 25 dollars for a square foot canvas, painted on it and returned it to Norva for display and sale.  The Center’s Karen Clark says they are now holding a silent auction so people are welcome to come into Norva for the next ten days and place their bids.  She says every day from the 23^rd to the 30^th there’ll be something called five at five and at 5 o’clock each day a random lot of five paintings will be chosen and the bidding will be closed for that day and the people will find out that they have acquired a piece of art.

The remaining art works will be auctioned off on September 30^th with auctioneer Raphael Saray.  Clark invites everyone to come to the Norva Center at 177 Green Street to view and bid on the art works.
