You Can Toss Your Change Into a Boot.

The Flin Flon Fire Department is holding its annual fundraising Boot Drive tomorrow.  Fire Chief Jim Petrie says this year they are again supporting local charities.  He says last year they collected for the Lord’s Bounty Food Bank and the SPCA who each received 77 hundred dollars which was fantastic and this year they will be collecting for the Women’s Shelter and Habitat for Humanity.

Petrie adds they will again be receiving support from Scotia Bank. The Boot Drive runs from 9 to 4:45 tomorrow on Third Avenue across from Mikes Ice and Burger.  Petrie says you don’t have to give but drive through carefully.
