The 102.9 CFAR Tri-Service Million Dollars Hole In One was a success.  A portion of the proceeds from the event are presented to a local organization and this year the committee presented a cheque for five thousand dollars to the Flin Flon Ski Club.  The Club’s Dave Price says it will be used to replace the lights that illuminate their Valley Trail.  He says the lights were put up originally by the Company around 1980 and they’re getting pretty old plus they’re putting up LED lights which will be much more power efficient reducing their hydro bill and basically it will be bringing their trail up to date.

Also at the presentation from the Ski Club were Dean and MacKenzie Grove and Larry Fancy along with Rotarian La Verne Hinzman, the Kinsmen’s Tom Therrien and Lion Andy Stewart.  Hinzman says this is the thirteenth year with ongoing great support so hopefully it can continue as a fund raiser for local organizations.
