Community Futures Greenstone is asking you to nominate outstanding volunteers.  Manager Bunny Burke says anyone in the Flin Flon area can nominate someone to receive a volunteer award.  She says they’re looking for people who have contributed to the community in different ways by volunteering with organizations and events, they can submit their names, they’d appreciated a bio on the individual to Greenstone and they will select the recipients.  She notes there’ll be four from Flin Flon this year.

Burke adds Creighton and Denare Beach select volunteers from their communities.  Those receiving awards will be invited to the annual Celebrating Communities Gala in October to receive a gift and certificate of recognition.
