The 26^th annual Cranberry Portage Trout Challenge is coming up August 1^st and 2^nd on Big Athapap.  The Committee’s Mike Wesner says the prizes will be the same as past years with first, second and third prizes guaranteed with first prize 3500 dollars, second place 2500 and third place 2000 and it doesn’t matter how may entries they get.  He adds then there’s prizes from fourth at 1500 to tenth at 700 based on a 100 boat entry so they usually get just about 60 boats so 10^th has usually been around 450 dollars and 11^th is a free entry into the derby next year.
