A Walk in Four Communities Was A Success.

Funds raised have been totaled for the Freedom Outreach Program’s third annual Walk For Freedom held May 30th.  Their Program Director Chris Lowe says the event was held in Flin Flon, The Pas, La Ronge and Wabamun Alberta although the prize winners for the most pledges were all from Flin Flon.  The first place winner is Nicole Whitbread, the second place winner is Sheila Sproxton and the consolation prize for the best effort went to a little chap named Lincoln Maxwell.  He adds the total for the walk was 15,301 dollars.

Prizes included for first a round trip flight for two to Winnipeg, second a stay for two at any Victoria Inn and consolation a toy Mac truck from United Rentals. The Walk is held to raise awareness of those afflicted by drug and alcohol addictions and supports the programs they run.
