The Flin Flon Recycling Center sponsored 20 Minutes of Magic on Friday as a way to encourage people to form teams and clean up public spaces in our community.  Their Administrator Deb Odegaard says it went well.  She says they had about 15 teams that signed up to help out and they picked up 277 kilograms of garbage and 32 of recyclables and she thinks a lot of people took care of their own bags so that number would actually be quite a bit higher.

Odegaard adds the International Association of Machinists will be cleaning up along the Perimeter Highway this week and the draw for the two one hundred dollar grocery gift cards will take place later this week.
