You Can Help Record Flin Flon History.

The Flin Flon Heritage Project continues to add material to their website recording the history of Flon Flon.  The Project’s Doug Evans says they have a lot of material on the site having completed the scanning of the Northern Lights magazines and Hapnot year books as well as books about Flin Flon and around 12 thousand pictures.  Evans says they now need help scanning material from the archive at the Library.  He explains it’s very difficult to access the archive particularly if you’re working in another town but they feel if they can scan everything in the archive and put it into a stand alone server at the library people will be able to see all the archival material without actually going into the archive and touching some of those delicate papers.

Evans adds they need a group of people dedicated to scanning so if you can spare an hour or two you can call Don Peake or leave your name at the Library.
