Creighton Community School is accepting applications for the Pre Kindergarten program that will start in September. Vice-Principal Jason Straile says it prepares children for school as it offers a good opportunity for three and four year olds to come into a school environment and have some play based learning that occurs. He says this is really good for brain development and will allow some socialization so they’ll be prepared for school in the coming years for kindergarten and so forth.
Straile adds parents must fill out an application form as there’s a limited number of spots. He says they must bring in their health care number and proof of residency and the school will pick the students that will most benefit from their program. The deadline to register is May 15th.
