Next week is Canadian Children’s Book Week. Flin Flon Public Library Administrator Cindy McLean is calling on all their super readers and fairy princesses to come in to the Library. She explains they are going to be offering a coloring contest, pick up your super reader bucks, enter your name to win a prize every time you check out a book and every child who opens up a library account gets a free book, treat bag and a book bag and they on Wednesday they’re going to be serving super ice cream Sundays to all their super readers from 1 to 4:30 as well as reading books with the library staff.
Now in its 38th year the TD Canadian Children’s Book Week is a celebration of children’s books and the importance of reading.
