Manitoba Conservation Minister Gord McIntosh has announced this summer dogs and cats will be allowed at no extra charge in designated pet friendly cabins and yurts in provincial parks. In the Flin Flon area two pet friendly yurts will be available at Bakers Narrows Provincial Park
Pet owners are reminded to keep control of their animals at all times and to pick up after them. Failure to do so can result in penalties such as at 203 dollar fine.
Reservations for provincial campgrounds will open on April 6th. To accommodate the expected high demand on opening day call center services will begin at 7 a.m. at their website prs.gov.mb.ca or at 1-888-482-2267. On all other days the call center will open at 9 a.m. while the online service will remain open 24 hours a day seven days a week.
