An International Award Winning Film Can Be Seen Tomorrow Night.

The Central Canada Film Group is presenting a film that has won numerous awards around the world.  The group’s Collin Davis says The Name of the Rose is a 1986 mystery thriller starring Sean Connery and Sean plays a monk during the 14th century and he is called to a monastery to investigate a series of deaths.  He says some say it’s the work of the devil and others find links to the book of revelations but Connery’s character thinks otherwise and he intends to find the murderer by using fact and reason which back in the time were tools of heresy.

The Name of the Rose will be shown tomorrow night at 7:30 in the Hapnot Collegiate Theatre.  Admission is free but donations can be made at the door.
