Lunch Programs are Growing in our Schools.

Last night Ecole McIsaac Parent Advisory Council Chair Kara Plamondon and Lunch Supervisor Fran Whitbread spoke to the Flin Flon School Board on the lunch program.  Plamondon was looking for some input on where the program needs to go next letting the Board know what’s been going on over the past four years.  The program started as a pilot project in 2010 and has seen steady growth in numbers over the years, currently over 100 children are registered.  Plamondon talked about the many hurdles they have faced over the years, one of the biggest being finding staff to fill in when others are ill.  Ideally she said she would like to see the Division take over the program in a year or two offering ideas for the future of the program.
