The annual Bust the Winter Blues Festival resulted in a busy weekend.  Committee members Channa Senyk and Kody Turner said the nice weather brought a lot of people out. They had 80 fishermen at Phantom Lake yesterday to take part in the fishing derby, they guesstemated a couple of hundred were out to the Rotary Wheel Saturday who came out to take part in events and have a sleigh ride with the horses and enjoy some socialization.  They had two or three hundred out to the family dance where they did a cup cake decorating challenge, face painting and it all went very well.

  Senyk added this was probably the largest attendance they’ve had at their events over the eight years she’s been involved.
