The Flin Flon Ski Club is holding their 40th annual Val and Ivor Hedman Centaloppet Sunday afternoon. The Club’s Dave Price says it’s an event that’s open to everybody, it’s a mass participation and they want to see all local skiers out there. He says the event starts at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon and they start on the beaver pond just below the Chalet, ski a very easy loop of 3.4 kilometers and they end again at the Chalet.
Price adds they have skiers taking part ranging in age for six to those in their 70’s. He says there’s no entry fee and there are a lot of prizes including the Centaloppet Cup.
