You Can Join People Around the World in Prayer.

The Salvation Army and St. Peters St. James Anglican Church are hosting a World Day of Prayer tomorrow night.  Major Debbie Allen says this event was started by the women of various countries around the world who decided they should meet for prayer.  She explained that has become a day of prayer for men and women although the women continue to organize it and this year it’s the women of the Bahamas who have organized the service.  So she says all over the world tomorrow there will be World Day of Prayer services focusing on the country of Bahamas.

The World Day of Prayer gets underway at 7 tomorrow night at the Salvation Army on Hemlock Drive.
