The 36th annual Denare Beach Winter Festival opened on Friday with a well attended supper and wrapped up yesterday afternoon. Some of the event winners include Kids Got Talent 10 year old Cordelia Osmond; Turkey Curling the team of Dale Holmgren, Mel Durette, Mike Durette and Jen Feuerstein; Family Fishing largest fish at 2.1 pounds Mark Lane, smallest 2 pounds Trina Senyk, most fish Mark Lane and oldest fisher Ed Andrusiak; Family Poker Derby Marty Streitle, oldest entry Eric Wallaker and youngest Halle Norman, King Trapper Kyle Dubinak and Queen Trapper Jen Feuerstein.
