Motorcycle Riders Are Supporting Breast Cancer Research

A Breast Cancer Pledge Ride is taking place this weekend to raise awareness and money for the fight against breast cancer in Manitoba.  Organizer Paulette Wotton says they start out at the Gateway with registration Sunday morning from 9 to 10:30. She says after everyone’s registered they will take off for Gyles Park and then once lunch is over they are going to gather together and make the first draw of their poker derby.  Then she adds they will stop at various places on the way back to Flin Flon and end up at the Rotary Wheel probably between 4 and 4:30 and they’ll make their last draw there.

Wotton says they will then have local entertainment including CC Trubiak and Chad Pabianek followed by Mark Conroy from Winnipeg.  She adds if you want to come out for the entertainment there will be a ten dollar gate fee after five o’clock and ghost hands are available for five dollars each at the registration table Sunday or from the riders.
