Culture Days are being celebrated September 26th to 28th. Organizer Crystal Kolt says it’s going to be mainly in Flin Flon this year and is going the have the feel of Folklarama with a Culture Days passport and around 80 events all around town with a few new ideas this year. She explains they’re going to have Major panning for gold at the Rotary pond, the Bombers are involved so they’re going to have a really great street hockey tournament that will be happening at Creekside Park which are some of the new things but they’re going to have much more.  She says there’s going to be the Seven Sacred Readings at the Hudbay property as well they’re going to be going really heavy with the whole mining theme.

Kolt adds there will be a lot of other events including walking through a volcano, street tours with Gerry Clark, a country beer bash, a teen event, Wild Rice will again entertain and a lot more.
