The Flin Flon Norva Center is hosting an artists retreat in August.  The group’s Karen Clark says they invite local artists as well as others to share the experience.  She says this is a non-instructional retreat and it goes for a week from August 17th to the 24th and artists take the whole week out of their busy schedule and just devote it purely to creating and sharing with one another.  She says it’s at Bakers Narrows Lodge and everyone takes responsibility for cooking the meals for one another over the course of the week.

Clark adds there is an artist coming from Toronto as well as Winnipeg and The Pas and on Saturday, August 23rd at 7 PM there will be a public display of the work done over the week.
