Pledges Will Support Breast Cancer Research

Preparations are underway for a Breast Cancer Pledge Ride.  Organizer Paulette Wotton says it’s about fund raising and awareness.  She says the ride was started to promote awareness of the fight against breast cancer in Manitoba.  She adds it is to include all motorcycle enthusiasts that would help in the fight and they get to have a day of riding, enjoying and taking part in a poker run and penny parade to help raise more funds to be donated to Cancer Care Manitoba.

The ride starts on Sunday, August 3rd at the Gateway on to Gyles Park finishing at the Rotary Wheel in Flin Flon. Wotton says the ride can include any motorcycles and hopefully some classic cars with pledge forms available at VA Services on Main Street, by calling her at 271-2928, or on facebook at Breast Cancer Pledge Ride North.
