The Habitat 53° Chapter of Habitat for Humanity is back to building its first home in Flin Flon at 189 Steventon Boulevard.  They are asking individuals, groups, organizations and businesses to come out and spend some time helping to build the home. In other Habitat Communities they feature service club days, business days, ladies days, youth days and others where groups of people adopt a day and come out and work.  If you can help out you can call their Volunteer Coordinator Katie Anderson at 204-687-3935.

You will need safety footwear, hard hats and safety glasses when on the building site.  Habitat has a few hard hats and safety glasses.  You will also have to take a short safety course online or in person.  To do that you can call Kathy McCormick at 204-687-6582.
