Flin Flon Parks and Recreation’s Summer in The Parks program gets underway today running until August 29th.
Supervisor Erin Hall says they offer a variety of programs each week for five to nine year olds. She says this summer they will be going on various field trips to places such as the SPCA, fire hall and police station and the kids will be able to enjoy such activities as hiking, zumba, swimming and even some super soaker water fights. She says registration is still open for all the weeks in the summer and you can call her with any questions at the Rec Office at 204-681-7542.
Summer in The Parks runs Monday to Friday from 12 to 5 and this year is based at the Elks Hall.
