On Monday the RCMP received a report of a man discharging a firearm on North Avenue in Flin Flon. The man was reported to have discharged a shotgun while threatening passersby. Police attended and arrested a suspect in the back alley of North Avenue.
As a result of the police investigation two firearms were seized as well as a quantity of ammunition.
A 38 year old Flin Flon man has been charged with four counts of assault with a weapon, four counts of uttering threats, careless use of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and causing a disturbance. He has been released and will appear in Flin Flon Provincial Court on September 4th
