It Was a Succesful Trout Festival

The annual Flin Flon Trout Festival wrapped up yesterday with the Canada Day celebrations.

             

Prizes awarded for the Canada Parade included first for commercial floats Phamasave, second City of Flin Flon and third Elite Communications.

             

For non-commercial floats first place went to the Flin Flon Ski Club, second French Immersion and third Habitat for Humanity.

             

For classic cars first was awarded to a 1970 Chev Impala owned by Dennis Anderson, second to a 69 Charger owned by Rob Robinson and third to a 71 Torino owned by Darren Wheeler.

             

The winners of the Spirit of the Trout Festival award for volunteers still in high school was shared by Danielle Nelson and Andy Shaw each receiving 300 dollars.

             

The photo scavenger hunt was won by the Look Sharp Team made up of Rikki Petersen, Blair Rasmussen, Lori Hodder and Danica Vachon.
