The Flin Flon Neighborhood Revitalization Corporation reports a successful 2013-14 year with their fix up grants program providing 14 grants and the small grants program 15 grants, their ongoing Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design program and several events in partnership with other groups and organizations.

The Corporation recently completed their community consultation to develop a three year Community Plan with the community requesting a stronger emphasis on youth. The plan includes supporting the development of affordable adequate and safe housing; supporting the development of diverse recreation, arts and cultural activities with a particular emphasis on youth; wellness and community well being projects, programs and facilities; encouraging the development of a safe community where there is respect for people and property; promoting initiatives that encourage the involvement of youth and steer them away from anti-social behavior; beautification, image and community connections; and community economic development.
