Money is still coming in from the Freedom Outreach Program’s second annual walk for Freedom held on May 31st. Their Program Director Chris Lowe says it went really well with approximately 48 walkers in La Ronge, 33 in Flin Flon and 25 in The Pas. He says the money collected so far is 14,381 dollars but they have a lot of money still out.
The Walk is held to raise awareness of those afflicted by drug and alcohol addictions and supports the programs they run.
