Local Entertainers Will Support a Special Display

The Northminster United Church is hosting a coffee house tomorrow evening at 7.  Reverend Alex McGilvery says you can get great music while supporting a good cause as the coffee house is to raise money for the Walking With Our Sisters exhibit that will be opening on June 23rd.  He says Sam Dufour Jarvis will be playing with his group and there’ll be some drummers from the Friendship Center and a number of other performers.  He adds it’s going to be a little different from their usual coffee house as it’s going to be cabaret style so you bring your own munchies and they are providing coffee, tea and fantastic entertainment.

A silver collection will be taken at the door to support Walking With our Sisters which is a memorial for missing and murdered indigenous women in Canada and the United States.
