Life Saving Equipment is Coming to the North

The Province of Manitoba has announced that 30 Northern First Nations Communities will receive life-saving automated external defibrillators. The AED’s will be installed my MKO. They have received 73 new AED’s that will be installed in 30 communities across Northern Manitoba. MKO Grand Chief David Harper said these life saving medical devices are a direct result of MKO, The Province, The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba and Health Canada coming together to proactively improve health services.  There are currently over 28-hundred AED’s registered in public places across Manitoba.
