Students and Youth Will Have Help Finding Jobs

The Manitoba Youth Job Center is open for another summer. Youth Employment Leader Lana Leclerc says the Center is a free job referral service run by the provincial government that matches job seeking youth with employers who need to fill positions with their company.  She says they also offer the Odd Job Squad for ages 12 to 16 which consist of a variety of events that occur during the summer that allow students to gain experience while earning an income. Leclerc adds she’s also more than happy helping students writing their resumes, cover letters and preparing for interviews.

The Center is open weekdays from 8:30 to 4:30 at 143 Main Street.  You can call them at 204-687-1689.
