The Flin Flon Arts Council’s Crystal Kolt recently received a national award in recognition of the Culture Days celebration she organizes in September.  Kolt was only the second person to receive the Antoni Cimolino (chim-oh-lee-no) Leadership Award.  She says because it’s a national award it’s something we can use as another opportunity to celebrate everything that we do in our community for arts and culture and again because it’s a national award we’ve been able to get some recognition across the country for what we’re doing in our area for Culture Days.

Kolt adds last year our Culture Days celebration was rated seventh across the country which is huge considering the number of major cities that also hold events.
