A Local Resident is on an Advisory Committee to the Prince.

When Prince Charles was in Winnipeg last week Community Futures Greenstone’s Bunny Burke was among 20 people from across the country who met with him to discuss sustainable development.  She says the event brought urban designers, planners, developers and civic leaders to approach sustainable development in Canada and learn about the work of the Prince’s Foundation around the world.  She says the Prince is very interested in economic development and through his Foundation he’s been assisting other countries so he would like to see the Foundation get a lot more involved in Canada so they are going to continue with these round tables in the future.

Burke was the only representative from the north and was impressed with their discussions with the Prince.  She says they will present their suggestions to Prince Charles and learn how they can access his Foundation
