If you are a non profit community group or organization that is looking for financial assistance, the Northern Neighbor’s foundation grant application deadline is coming up in February.
Shylo Rogers explains the process. " This year we are going to grant out approximately $170,000.00 to the communities of Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, Cranberry and Snow Lake. These funds are to be used for community projects like literacy, safety, anything community oriented. In order to be eligible you need to be a registered charity that has a community project they are looking for. There is a way around that if you are not a registered charity, you can actually borrow a charity number from your municipality, it is just an additional form on your application."
To get an application you can go to the website at northrtnneighbors.com and click on the pdf then e-mail it to northernneighborsfoundation@gmail.com with the deadline February the 15th. Funds will be dispersed on June the 15th.
