The 35th annual Cranberry Portage Trout Challenge came to a close yesterday on Lake Athapap.
44 boats tok part from all over Manitoba and Saskatchewan including a duo that made it in from Bonnyville Alberta.
It was a great weekend of fishing with a whopping 295 fish caught on Saturday and another 149 on Sunday.
When it was all said and done, it was a duo from Stonewall Manitoba, Paul Munroe and Darren Blazeiko who finished first and will take home $65,00.00.
