The Flin Flon Bombers have announced their final inductee for the SJHL Hall Of Fame Ceremonies coming up in September as the team gets set to celebrate their 100th anniversary.
The Bombers announced earlier today that former player and current Head Coach and GM Mike Reagan will be getting inducted.
Reagan has created a very big legacy as he is fresh off helping bring the franchise's first league championship to Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan in 33 years.
Reagan is also the winningest coach in the team's rich history surpassing 600 wins , and has now coached in over a thousand games, all with the Bombers organization. Two stats that may never be duplicated.
Mike has also been selected as not only the SJHL Coach Of The Year, but has also received a CJHL Coach Of The Year recognition and has had a lot of success on the International Stage.
He has been able to win two Gold Medals and a Bronze Medal with his five appearances as Head Coach of Canada West at the World JR A Challenge, not to mention sending several players to College hockey including the NCAA.
Reagan started his career suiting up for his home town team as a player, donning the Maroon and White for four seasons between 1996 and 2000. His final season was his best offensively putting up 81 points in 56 games.
Congratulations and well deserved to one of the most respected Coach's not only in the SJHL but right across the country.
Reagan and this year's complete induction class will be recognized and honored for their contributions and achievements in the SJHL Hall Of Fame Ceremonies at the Flin Flon Community Hall on September the 23rd.
