SJHL Welcomes Back Familiar Face And Name

The Laronge Ice Wolves have made a very  big announcement that their hockey club will be bringing back coaching icon Bob Beatty.

Beatty is no stranger to the Wolves or the SJHL, where he guided the northern club to two league championships back in 2010 and 2011. Bob coached Laronge between 2004 and 2013 before moving on to BC.

Prior to that,  Beatty coached the Humboldt Broncos for 7 seasons which included a league championship and National title in 2003.

Bob brings more than 30 years in coaching experience at many different levels and made the Ice Wolves one of the toughest and most dangerous teams during his 9 year stint there.

The Ice Wolves are hoping that Beatty can bring his connections and expertise to help mold them into a top team once again. Bob will work closely with the new coach who will be announced soon as the Wolves continue the rebuilding process and getting back respectability.
