The Hapnot Collegiate Lacrosse team kicked off their season with a tournament in Powerview this past weekend.
Hapnot lost a pair of games to Murdoch McKay 10 to 2 and Leo Remillard 9 to 6 before rallying for a 5 to 4 win over Sturgeon Heights.
Logan Simon, Michael Pawlachuk and Ethan Pawlachuk led the way offensively with multiple goals each.
Garron Fisher had a standout performance in goal against Sturgeon.
Hapnot is now off to a tournament in Portage May the 22nd and 23rd. They play Niverville at 1pm and Portage at 3:30pm to open up the tourney on Friday the 22nd.
On Saturday May the 23rd they will play Transcona at 9am and Selkirk at 12:45pm.
