The Norman Northstars picked up their first weekend sweep of the 2013-14 season this past weekend beating the Central Plains Capitals 6-4 Saturday and 4-2 yesterday.

Norman improves to 7-28-1, and are just one point behind Central Plains for 11th place, and 7 points behind Parkland for the final playoff spot.

Norman continues to get better under the guidance of Doug Korman, and a playoff possibility is noy out of the question.

The Northstars hit the road this weekend, playing Brandon Friday, Yellowhead Saturday and Parkland Sunday afternoon.
