The Norman Northstars wrapped up a long road trip yesterday.

Norman opened things up on Thursday losing to the Southwest Cougars 5-4, but did rebound to beat Pembina Valley 5-4 in a shoot out Friday. Gillam's Layne Anderson got the shootout winner.

Norman wrapped up the trip with a couple of very good efforts in Central Plains losing 5-3 Saturday, and a very respectable 4-2 loss to the Winnipeg Thrashers on Sunday. The Thrashers have only lost six games all season.

Norman's record stands at 5-28-0-1 after the weekend and will host Central Plains this Saturday and Sunday in Thompson.
