The Hapnot Senior Kings kicked off the high school basketball season this past weekend in The Pas, at the annual Bill McDonald Invitational Tournament.

The Kings went undefeated beating Sandy Bay, Norway House and OCN.

Hapnot would play Norway House for the second time in the tournament, beating them in the finals 47-37.

This is the third straight year Hapnot has won this event.

Creighton school gets set to host the Border Bash this weekend, with teams competing from The Pas, Sandy Bay, Star City, Beaval, Cranberry, Norway House, Buffalo Narrows and Creighton.
