Kings Volleyball Season Comes To An End

It was a valiant effort, but the Hapnot Kings ran out of gas in Provincials this past weekend in Winnipeg.

Hapnot who were ranked seventh, were in a pool with all Winnipeg teams.

The Kings beat the no. 3 ranked team the Springs Christian Eagles 25-22, 20-25, 15-10 to start the tournament.

Hapnot would move on to play the no.1 ranked team from Calvin Christian and played very well dropping both sets  25-17 and 25-22. Hapnot rebounded to beat ST. James 22-25, 25-23 and 15-13.

In their last round robin game, Hapnot lost to Louis Riel 25-22, 23-25, 13-15.

Hapnot placed second in their pool and played Berlin school in the quarters and ended up losing 25-15,23-15 and 13-15.

It was another successful season for the Kings who showed everyone at Provincials that they can play with any one.
